NARRATIVE SCRIPTS

– A twisted late-night show about (self-)censorship, cancel culture and tribal dancing

Worldpremiere
10 – 17 May at theater Svalegangen
22 -31 May at theater FÅR302

Welcome to the engine room of facts, fake news, and shared truths where two lobbyists and influencers feverishly spin myths and alternative realities for us all to agree on. The goal is to keep everyone in check. The big question is: What do we do with those who refuse to follow the rhythm of the crowd?

NARRATIVE SCRIPTS is an absurd and physical performance about the power of words. Blending dance, theatre and performance art, it delves into the dynamics of media and power, cultures of silence and freedom of expression. What happens when everyone agrees on a single truth? Are we simply lying in unison? Can other perspectives survive? Is it democracy if we all “agree,” or is it a totalitarian tribal dance?
